If you’ve never been to Canton First Monday Trade Days, then you are, without a doubt, missing out. This once-a-month, weekend shopping opportunity is the bread and butter of East Texas. It is made up of 6,000 vendors spread over 100 acres selling goods to over 100,000 customers, AND this past weekend Tailgating Gypsy became one of the 6k.

My new store is located at the corner of Trade Center III and the Arbors Atrium Food Court. For those of you who aren’t regular Trade Day junkies, here’s a map:

That bright neon green arrow – that’s ME!!! The two red arrows that’s my momma. So not if, but when you shop Canton, shop these arrows!

The former owner of my store location decided to downsize and become my landlord and neighbor. It was a win win for both of us!!! This was his booth..

But I hired a carpenter to build a wall with wood and metal..

and with a lot of this..

and a lot of that..

I now have this!!!

I am blessed to have had an amazing grand opening, but I couldn’t have done it without my handy men!!! Here is my brother hanging lights and my fiance programming my surround sound stereo system. I literally couldn’t have done it without them!!

But because of them, I am the smiley business owner pictured below..

To all of you who shopped with me this past Canton weekend — THANK YOU!!! To all of you who plan to shop with me in the future — I CAN’T WAIT!!!
